In this blog, we report on very special orders: today it is the turn of PANAMA.
Global delivery? No distance is too great for us when our customers need a spare part. Our customer service was pretty astonished when an order arrived from Panama. Electro-magnetic brakes, a contactor and profile buffers therefore embarked upon a long journey to the distant country, where they soon got things working again, after just a few days.
At Hauer, this order gave us the opportunity to implement “think global” as “send global”.
And if you now have wanderlust, here are some facts about the country located 9,500 km away as the crow flies: Panama is the southernmost country in Central America. It borders Colombia to the east and Costa Rica to the west. It has a total area of 75,517 km² and is home to almost four million people. As the narrowest part of the Central American land bridge, Panama connects the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean via the Panama Canal.
